A2 HostingProvides you with a basic Wordpress hosting solution
A2 Hosting advertises a fast, easy and reliable Wordpress hosting solution. They currently offer 3 different plans which starts as low as $3.92 per month, this should be enough for individuals who are just starting out with their Wordpress site. Keep in mind that their plans do not include a domain name.
Once you select your preferred plan, you’ll be able to configure it through some additional options. By default you’ll be paying for a full 24 months, so remember to change this if you’re only looking for a year or a month. This pricing displayed here is different as they’re applying a discount code by default, which is slightly confusing.
On this step, you’re also able to add extra options to your accounts, these include; a dedicated IP, a “turbo boost”, priority support, backups and a more advanced SSL certificate.
One of the final options is to install Wordpress (or any other Content Management System), by default “Wordpress - A2 Optimized” is selected. They don’t really explain what “A2 Optimized” mean, but you’ll also have the option to install a default Wordpress installation.
The last step is to input your personal information and select a payment method. A2 Hosting allows you to pay through Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Wire Transfer, Skrill, Check or MO, PayULatam, CCAvenue or 2CheckOut.
The next step was slightly confusing, after my payment was accepted, I was taken to the client area where I saw the details of the subscription I just signed up for. I was given a temporary domain with my Wordpress site, upon clicking the link I noticed that the Wordpress installation wasn’t complete and was missing various assets and scripts.
I did have full access to the newly created server when using FTP and could inspect the database manually. Allowing me to install Wordpress myself and have it working a few minutes later. While this was a slight inconvience, this could’ve been because I choose the “A2 Optimized” solution during checkout. Perhaps the default Wordpress installation would’ve worked.
A2 Hosting offers a site migration service, they’ll be able to migrate your site to A2 Hosting. (In most cases)
SSL Certificates are included by default in any plan.
A2 Hosting provides you with automated backups, but only for their “Swift” and “Turbo” plans.
A2 Hosting offers 24/7 live support, as well as support through Skype and a helpline. They also have a small “knowledge base” and you can open new support tickets.
The live support was responsive and helped me with any question I had.
Through the client area, you’re able to request a cancellation at any time. I was able to get a refund without any issues.

At any point you’ll be able to get your money back through their “Anytime Money Back Guarantee” program. I was able to get a refund without any issues.
The checkout process was very straightforward and despite the initial corrupted Wordpress installation, I was able to reinstall it without any issues.
